Plains Camp is an exclusive-use villa surrounded by open plains, ideal for groups of friends or multi-generational families. It has four spacious en-suite rooms, each with its own Wolwedans Chiller (a small plunge pool).
Designed by owner Stephan Brückner, the villa is built from timber and canvas, with walls that open completely to let the desert in, or close for warmth on chilly winter nights. It also has decks, a swimming pool and a central living area combining a study, lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. A private guide and vehicle, house manager and chef complete the experience.
Activities range from scenic drives and fat-tyre e-biking to guided Bushman walks. Just five minutes from Wolwedans Village, the camp is well placed for the Heart & Home Village Tour, a behind-the-scenes look at how Wolwedans runs. Children of all ages are welcome, and a minimum stay of two nights applies.
