Dune Camp is where Wolwedans began, on the site of the first four igloo dome tents. It still offers a down-to-earth yet stylish stay, with a relaxed, intimate charm.
Positioned on the edge of a 250-metre-high dune, with views across the reserve to the mountains beyond, the camp is dressed in rich natural textures, handcrafted furnishings and a warm palette. It has six Tented Rooms and a two-room Family Suite. The tents are pitched on raised wooden platforms and have king-size beds, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, a minibar and Wi-Fi. Each private deck has a daybed that converts into a Starbed for a night under the desert sky and a Wolwedans Chiller (a small plunge pool) for the summer months.
The main area houses a spacious lounge, a choice of a shared table or dinner for two and the Silo Bar. As the sun goes down, the fire pit becomes the natural gathering point. Children aged seven and older are welcome and a minimum stay of two nights applies.
